Thank you for attending my practice. The majority of my patients are referred for the treatment of gynaecological cancers, precancers or for complex general gynaecological surgery (eg endometriosis, fibroids, pelvic masses).
I know this can be a time of great anxiety for you and your family. It is important to realize that gynaecological cancers are treatable and in the majority curable. Understanding your condition and how this will be treated is also important. I will make every effort to always keep you informed and to explain things fully. Please feel free to ask questions.
In most circumstances I will be able to provide you with written material/diagrams to further reiterate what we have discussed. I have also included under my ‘links’ section a number of sites which have comprehensive information on the various conditions I deal with such as ovarian , uterine, vulval, cervix, peritoneal and familial carcinomas.
Family members or friends are encouraged to be present at your discretion.
